Inbound calls do not work (Common reasons)

  1. Check that the number is configured onto the system. The inbound number must be associated with an extension, which must call a user. Unless a user has been configured, all calls will hear “busy”.

  2. If the caller hears a long (typically 10 second) pause before getting a busy or fault tone, it is possible that the ISDN provider (ISDN2 only) has configured your line in PtMP Mode (Point-to-MultiPoint Mode) - This needs to be changed to PtP Mode (Point-to-Point Mode)
