ALWAYS click on the Update firmware version list link or button before attempting an upgrade, or checking handset firmware.
If a licence issue is reported, it may be as simple as clicking on the serial number under the menu on the left and requesting an updated licence.
Always read the help text on the Upgrades menu. This covers both upgrade and rollback procedures in case of issues.
If using very old or discontinued Polycom handsets, refresh the firmware list, and use “Handset firmware mode” to see whether any of the older firmware needs updating.
